Doodson at the Autosport International Show

Last week the Doodson team exhibited at the Autosport International Show with The Awning Company.

Doodson Motorsport and The Awning Company have joined forces to create a Paddock Safety Solution. With the Health and Safety Executive visiting race meetings at major circuits in 2010, UK teams are now under increased pressure to ensure that they are compliant to Health & Safety regulations.

Doodson Motorsport and The Awning Company have created two solutions to help teams:

• Basic solution – a document which is suitable for all teams including template documents such as risk assessments.
• Tailored solution – a safety audit taken place by a trained health & safety specialist assessing a team’s set-up in the paddock and including all the documents legally required to ensure compliance.

Simply ignoring the need for compliance to Health & Safety Regulations in the paddock is not an option and could lead to prosecution, injury, delay of race preparation, imprisonment, cancellation of entry into the race, unlimited fines and even invalidation of team’s insurance cover.
