Doodson Sport - New Sponsor For NPL League Cup

League chairman Mark Harris was delighted with the coup. “To attract a name of the calibre of Doodson Sport is a huge boost to the league and its clubs. With the President’s Cup no longer in action, the League Cup is our club’s sole opportunity for silverware outside of the FA Cup, FA Trophy and county cup competitions. The sponsorship from Doodson Sport will enable us to develop the competition more effectively.

At Doodson Sport we were appointed the NPL’s new insurance broker during the summer following a competitive tender process providing liability cover including player-to-player as part of their bespoke football insurance cover for member clubs. Other areas include protection of club assets and revenue.

Doodson Sport Director, Ian Hesselden, said “We’re delighted to be working closely with the league and its clubs. For us, sponsoring the League Cup is a natural extension of our relationship and fits perfectly with our philosophy of investing back into the sports we work with.
