Doodson Entertainment sponsors Exposure Music Awards

Doodson Entertainment is proud to announce its support of the Exposure Music Awards® (EMA®) which will take place on Sunday 16 October at the famous 900-capacity Cargo Club in Shoreditch, London.

Doodson Entertainment is actively working to engage unsigned and undiscovered acts in a new campaign which is set to be launched next month, and its support of the Exposure Music Awards® will help to drive the crusade.

Doodson is offering a year’s free equipment insurance for the winners of ‘Best Live Act – text vote’ and ‘Best Live Act – judge’s vote’ at the lively music awards, which represent some of the best unsigned talent in the UK and beyond. Winning acts will be treated to a host of top prizes, which include free studio, mixing and mastering time, global digital coverage through social media networks, touring opportunities and the invaluable investment of time and expertise from industry professionals.

Finalists were selected at regional auditions and showcase events after being hand-picked to perform by judges and fans through social media channels, Facebook, YouTube and MySpace.  “The standard has been high this year and we are excited to unveil this year’s winners at the live final,” explains Dean Hill, one of the founders of the EMA® awards.

Now in its fourth year, the Exposure Music Awards® event will be headlined by award finalists, previous winners and supporting guest acts, all to be revealed on the night.  Some of the winning acts will go on to perform as part of a promotional tour, which will take place in early 2012.

Stuart Davis, Chief Operating Officer for Doodson Entertainment is based at the company’s newly-launched London office, and he commented: “Now into our sixth decade of working in the live music industry, our focus is still the same – to work equally with bands and artists from grass roots level, as well as globally-recognised acts, and the Exposure Music Awards® is one of the ways we get involved with our industry peers and watch as new talent emerges.  

Dean believes that this event promises to be the best yet.
